18.01.2017 – In November 2016, Rakib Ahsan took over as manager of the regional coordination office for Enfants du Monde in Bangladesh. He will be responsible for maintaining the link between local partners in Bangladesh and the team in Geneva, as well as supporting health and education projects. He succeeds Muzahid Ali who held this position for 5 years and has now moved on to new career challenges.

Of Bengali origin, Rakib Ahsan is married with two children, and has a master’s degree in anthropology and a post-graduate degree in project planning. He has over 20 years’ experience in managing development programmes. Recent posts include working for Counterpart International and for The Asia Foundation in Bangladesh.
