Bilingual and intercultural academic training in Benin. To mark the start of the third semester of the Master in Bilingual, Multilingual and Intercultural Education at the Abomey-Calavi University, our education specialists Antonio, Cristina and Edivanda recently set off once again on a mission to Benin. So far they have conducted seminars on social sciences, life sciences and mathematics to thirty students: all of whom are trainers and education experts who follow this course, and are from Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger and Chad.

The Master began in February 2017 and it is part of Enfants du Monde’s action plan in order to enhance sustainable quality education in Africa. Subsequent to the Master, these trainers and education experts will be better equipped to analyse whether or not the teaching methods implemented in their respective countries are suitable. Therefore, they will be able to contribute to the creation and implementation of new approaches for their countries, and they will be able to adjust to the sociocultural reality and meet the needs of the population.
