It is impossible – in times like these – not to mention Ukraine and the millions of men, women and children who, under brutal aggression, find their very lives under threat and are forced to flee into exile or hide away in shelters. Enfants du Monde has no presence in Ukraine, but does work in contexts which are also marked by violence and fighting, especially in the Sahel.
Below we share the main key figures of our activities. None of this would have been possible without your support: on behalf of the children, mothers-to-be, and young mothers benefitting from our programmes, thank you!

PROVIDING EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
In 2021, the closure of schools in Guatemala and Burkina Faso had an impact on the learning and wellbeing of children. Natural disasters or armed conflicts both adversely affected the education of schoolchildren. In an often difficult situation, we continued to endeavour to provide quality education safely, and to offer children a better future.
