Musical Comedy

28.10.2013 - From 31 October to 10 November, Enfants du Monde, Compagnie Zappar and other partner associations will present a Haitian-Swiss musical comedy in French-speaking Switzerland entitled “Le Balayeur et la Rose” (The Sweeper and the Rose).

This musical show, performed by 22 artists from Switzerland and Haiti, is an activist tale which denounces the impacts of over-consumption and high finance on world governance.  The metaphorical approach comes without slogans or dogmatism. The idea is to make the spectator think about the future of the planet and the place he will occupy as a citizen.

Each of these shows is preceded by a 30-minute musical performance by a singer-songwriter from Western Switzerland.
