24.05.2013 - Enfants du Monde’s “Song for Education” project aims to help children realise how important it is for everyone to have a quality education. Following its great success in 2012, the project has been extended and expanded this year. Eight hundred children from French-speaking Switzerland, Burkina Faso, Canada and Haïti took part.
Yannick Cochand, project manager, explains: “This is a project in which children are directly involved. They have been able to make a direct contribution to change by writing and performing the songs, as well as producing video clips on the importance of education.”
Schoolchildren from French-speaking Switzerland will be performing in public:
25th May, 19.30: "Vennes-Arts-Festival", Grande Salle de Vennes, Lausanne
5th June, 20.00: "Festival Entre Deux", Octogone, Pully
