04.08.2011 - From December 2010 to mid-March 2011, Enfants du Monde had a partnership with the Swiss clothing website Give-Me-Hope. During this time, 10% of the purchases made by clients who chose Enfants du Monde were donated to the project «School for shepherds and shepherdesses» in Burkina Faso.

This project's aim is to provide basic education for shepherd children. The education they receive is bilingual (French and their native language: Fulfulde) and adapted to their specific needs: children not only learn how to read and write but they are also trained in agricultural and breeding methods.

Thanks to Give-me-Hope and all those who supported Enfants du Monde we will be able to offer the educational material to the teachers this year and the next one. These supplies are indispensable to assure a quality teaching adapted to the local needs.
