10.18.2010 - During the French-speaking world Summit, which will take place from the 22nd to the 24th of October 2010 in Montreux, a round table, open to the public, will be held Thursday, October 21st. The theme of the discussion will focus on French and African languages in education: competition or complementarity? Why and how to promote multilingualism based on the native language in a globalized world?
Participants are education experts from the UNESCO, from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Swiss « Enfants du Monde », the Swiss Labour Assistance (SLA) as well as from the Directorate for Education, the International Organization for the Frenck-speaking world, and the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA).
