12.06.2010 - For the third consecutive year, Enfants du Monde receives the invaluable support of La Libellule, a Geneva-based greeting card company.

Nat Christin, founder of «La Libellule» is very concerned by the world of children: Illustrations created for children’s books and cards and birth announcements are destined to them.

To go further in its commitment for children, «La Libellule» is working with Enfants du Monde; for each card bought, 1 franc will be donated to Enfants du Monde for the health program in Burkina Faso which saves the lives of thousands of pregnant women, mothers and newborns.

Thanks to this health initiative, pregnant women, mothers and newborn babies receive regular medical follow up. Also, during information sessions, pregnant women and their families learn about the detection of complications related to pregnancy as well as taking care of themselves and of their new born child. Additionally, the health personnel are trained to better counsel the pregnant women and their families which allows for an increasing level of quality of care.
