27.01.2009 - Until February 15th 2009, the cultural products shop Fnac in Basel will present a photo exhibition entitled “Through the Eyes of Childhood”, presented by the association Enfants du Monde.

More than 100 children from the southern countries and from Switzerland became photographers for one day to show us, through their eyes, images representing poverty, wealth, and their dreams for their future. The 49 pictures of this exhibition are still raising the enthusiasm of a growing crowd.

“Through the Eyes of Childhood” has thus been showed throughout several parts of Switzerland in 2008: in the French part of Switzerland, in Geneva, the exhibition was presented on the Wilson Quay as well as in the La Praille shopping center, and in Yverdon-les-Bains, it was shown at the Repuis foundation. In German Switzerland the exhibition was presented at the cultural center Karl der Grosse in Zurich, and at the Kornhausforum in Bern.

Soon the exhibition will be presented at the Alte Kaserne in Winterthur.
