12.10.2009 - The education project in Tahoua, in the center of Niger, allows teenagers, a little or not scolarized, to follow a basic education of four years before to get a training with local craftsmen.
Ten education centers of this type are open since 2006 and have given the opportunity to 540 young teenagers, to get trained ; this facilitates their employability and assure them very concrete perspectives for the future. Financed by Enfants du Monde, these centers have become a place of hope for young people.
Enfants du Monde also offers a technical support through teachers’ education, by means of the amelioration of the quality of teaching and the approach of the “Pedagogy of the Text”.
